This is a mail-in service. You must send your laptop to us for inspection, disassembly, charging port replacement, reassembly, and testing.

Customer is responsible for shipping the laptop to us. Free return shipping is included.

It does not cover charging ports that are soldered directly to the motherboard.

Please include your complete laptop model number when placing your order so we can verify compatibility and the correct replacement part.

Important Service Notice

This service is intended specifically for laptops that use a plug-and-play, cable-mounted, or removable DC charging jack.

A laptop that does not charge is not always caused by the charging port. Other possible issues include:

• Defective AC adapter or charger

• Charging circuit failure

• Power management IC failure

• Short circuit

• Liquid damage

• Damaged motherboard connector

• USB-C charging circuit failure

If the charging port is not the issue or additional repairs are needed, we will contact you with an estimate.

No additional repairs will be performed without your approval.

Plug-and-Play Charging Port Notice

This service covers charging ports that can be removed without motherboard soldering, including:

• Cable-mounted DC jacks

• Plug-in charging port assemblies

• Removable DC-in harnesses

• Ports connected via internal plug connectors

Some laptops may appear plug-and-play but still have:

• Damaged cables

• Damaged housings

• Broken mounting points

• Motherboard connector damage

If your laptop uses a soldered charging port, this service does not apply.

We will contact you with the correct repair option if needed.

Board-Level Repair Notice

Board-level soldering is not included with this service.

If your laptop requires:

• Soldered charging port replacement

• Motherboard trace repair

• Damaged pad repair

• Charging circuit repair

• Power management repair

• USB-C port soldering

• Motherboard connector replacement

We will provide an estimate before proceeding.

No board-level work will be done without approval.

Parts Notice

• Replacement charging ports are included only when specified

• Some models require special or model-specific parts

• Final pricing may vary depending on part availability

If the correct part cannot be confirmed before arrival, we will inspect and contact you.

Previous Repair Attempt Notice

Please inform us if the laptop has been previously repaired.

Possible issues from prior repairs include:

• Missing screws

• Broken plastic clips

• Damaged connectors

• Damaged charging cables

• Modified wiring

• Missing brackets

• Incorrect parts installed

• Damage around charging port

• Incomplete repairs

Additional charges may apply if extra repair work is required.

We will always contact you before proceeding.

Physical Damage Notice

If the charging port was damaged by impact or force, there may also be:

• Damaged housing

• Broken hinges

• Damaged brackets

• Motherboard connector damage

• Internal structural damage

These repairs are not included unless approved separately.

Liquid Damage Notice

If liquid damage or corrosion is found:

• Additional cleaning may be required

Data and Storage Notice

• Please back up your data before shipping

• We are not responsible for data loss due to hardware failure, repair, or shipping

• Charging port repair does not normally affect your operating system

Password Notice

• Some testing may require login access

• You may provide your password for full testing

• If not provided, we will perform hardware-only testing
