DualSense Edge Notice

This service is not compatible with the PlayStation 5 DualSense Edge controller.

Helton’s Computer Repair LLC does not currently provide battery replacement or repair services for DualSense Edge controllers.

Important Diagnostic Notice

Battery replacement can correct problems caused by a weak, damaged, or failed internal battery.

Charging and power problems may also be caused by:

• A damaged USB-C charging port

• A faulty charging cable or power adapter

• Liquid damage or corrosion

• Motherboard damage

• Damaged battery connectors

• Failed charging components

• Previous repair damage

If additional damage is discovered, we will contact you with an updated estimate before completing any additional repairs.

Additional repairs will not be performed without your approval.

How the Mail-In Service Works

1. Place your repair order.

2. Securely package and mail your controller to us.

3. Include your order number and a description of the battery or charging problem.

4. We will inspect the controller, replace the battery, and perform full testing.

5. Once the repair is complete, we will prepare your controller for return shipment.

6. Your controller will be shipped back with free return shipping.

Replacement Battery Notice

This service includes installation of a compatible replacement battery for your DualSense controller.

The exact battery brand, model, and rated capacity may vary depending on controller revision and current parts availability.

Battery life will vary based on controller settings, vibration, adaptive-trigger use, speaker volume, headset use, lighting, gameplay habits, and battery condition.

Swollen Battery Notice

Do not continue charging or using a controller with a swollen, leaking, punctured, or physically damaged battery.

Please contact us before shipping a controller with a visibly swollen or damaged battery so we can provide proper packaging and shipping guidance.

Previous Repair Attempt Notice

Please let us know if another repair shop or technician has previously worked on the controller.

Controllers with damaged connectors, missing screws, torn cables, corrosion, modified wiring, missing components, or incomplete previous repairs may require additional work and additional charges.

Repair Time

Most DualSense battery replacements are completed within a few business days after the controller arrives and is inspected.

Additional time may be required during holidays, weekends, periods of high repair volume, parts shortages, previous repair damage, or unforeseen circumstances.
